These fire safety knowledge need to be mastered

    To curb the occurrence of fire accidents and create a safe and stable development environment, let's learn and master some fire safety knowledge together!

    Safety hazards should be noted

    1. Malfunctions in household appliances can easily cause fires

    When using electric appliances such as induction cookers, electric blankets, and irons, it is important to avoid fires caused by wire damage due to aging of the wiring and frequent handling.

    2. Barbecue heating can easily cause fires

    Heating materials are strictly prohibited from igniting with flammable materials such as gasoline, kerosene, and alcohol. Combustible materials should not be stacked around the stove, and the use of heating materials to bake clothes is strictly prohibited.

    3. littering cigarette butts can easily cause fires

    Do not casually throw cigarette butts or matchsticks into the waste paper basket or flammable debris, and do not lie in bed or smoke on the sofa.

    4. Setting off fireworks and firecrackers can easily cause fires

    When setting off fireworks and firecrackers, it is necessary to choose a safe place and master the correct method of setting off. After setting off, the scene should be inspected and cleaned in a timely manner to eliminate fire hazards.

    5. Gas leakage can easily cause fires

    Once a gas leak is detected, the gas valve and stove switch should be immediately closed, and doors and windows should be opened. Do not touch electrical switches or use open flames, and remember not to make phone calls in gas leak areas; When you discover a gas leak in your neighbor's house, you should immediately knock on the door to notify them and do not use the doorbell.

    6. Improper connection and pulling of wires can easily cause fires

    Do not overload electricity, do not use excessive electrical equipment, do not use copper, iron, aluminum wire, etc. to replace the fuses on the knife switch, do not change the circuit arbitrarily, and charge the electric vehicle at the designated location. Everyone should always rectify the fire hazards in their homes, cultivate good habits of turning off the fire, electricity, and gas when going out, and clean up illegally parked electric vehicles and debris in the hallway to maintain smooth fire escape routes. Teach children to develop the habit of familiarizing themselves with escape routes and the placement of fire-fighting equipment when encountering unfamiliar environments.

    Remember fire safety knowledge firmly

    1. Fire alarm hotline

    (1) Fire alarm number 119. After connecting, the detailed address such as the street where the fire occurred, the house number, etc. should be clearly explained.

    (2) To clarify what is on fire and what the situation is.

    (3) To clarify whether it is a bungalow or a high-rise building, it is best to explain the location of the fire, the burning materials, and the combustion situation.

    (4) The informant must clearly state their name and phone number.

    (5) After the alarm, a dedicated person should be dispatched to wait for the arrival of the fire truck at the intersection, guiding the fire truck to the road to the fire scene, in order to quickly and accurately reach the location of the fire.

    2. What to do if an electrical appliance catches fire If a computer or TV catches fire, even if the device is turned off or even unplugged, the components inside the device will still be very hot, emitting flames and producing toxic gases. Fluorescent screens and picture tubes may also explode. The following are the ways to deal with this:

    When the computer starts to smoke or catch fire, immediately unplug the power plug or turn off the main power switch, and then cover it with a damp blanket or quilt. This can not only prevent the spread of smoke and fire, but also block the glass fragments of the fluorescent screen. Do not splash water on a burning computer or TV, even if the power is turned off, because a sudden drop in temperature can cause the hot cathode ray tube to burst. In addition, there is still residual current in computers and televisions, and splashing water may cause electric shock. Do not lift the cover to observe. When extinguishing the fire, to prevent the imaging tube from exploding and injuring people, only approach from the side or back.

    There is a versatile triple and quadruple socket in the power socket, which is convenient to use. However, when using this multi-purpose socket, attention should be paid to the capacity that the power socket can withstand, and it should not be used under overload to ensure safety.

    3. What should I do if my body catches fire Never run after catching fire on your body, because the more you run, the stronger the fire will be. This is because running a person actually accelerates air convection and promotes combustion, making the fire even more intense. The correct approach is:

    (1) Try to take off your clothes first, immerse them in water or stamp them out with your feet;

    (2) If there is no time to take off your clothes, you can also lie down on the ground and extinguish the flames on your body;

    (3) Do not use a fire extinguisher to spray directly onto the person on fire, as the chemicals inside the extinguisher can cause burns and infections.

    4. How to prevent smoking with wet towels

    (1) The number of folding layers varies depending on the texture of the towel. Generally, it is advisable to fold a towel 8 layers, so that the smoke concentration elimination rate can reach 60%.

    (2) If possible, you can wet and twist the towel to keep it moist, which can avoid air tightness and effectively adsorb and filter harmful dust particles.

    (3) When using, cover your mouth and nose, and increase the area for filtering smoke as much as possible.
