Yellow-breasted bunting chirps merrily in the branches, purple aquatic chickens walk leisurely by the lake, common cormorants stand "sedate" in the treetops, black-winged kites and snake eagles either stop on high or soar in the sky...

    According to Zhu Yuan, a bird-watching enthusiast, 44 species of migratory and resident birds, belonging to 11 orders and 24 families, were observed and recorded within two hours on the morning of November 7 in the Heshun Zhanghe Wetland, including the yellow-breasted Sparrow, the white-breasted jade, the common 𫛠-, the black-winged kite, the snake eagle and the purple

    According to reports, yellow-breasted bunting, also known as yellow bile, grass finch, is a passerine, bunting family, Bunting genus of birds. China included it in the national list of key protected wildlife in 2021, and the population has begun to recover in recent years.

    The ecological environment of Heshun is superior, and the town is surrounded by "five mountains", "three springs" and "two rivers", which provides a suitable habitat for many birds. Up to now, a total of 217 species of birds have been recorded, including the painted ibis, yellow-breasted Sparrow and black stork, the sparrowhawk, the crested bee hawk, the Kestrel Falcon, the peregrine Falcon, the snake eagle, the boot falcon eagle, the purple pheasant, the white-breasted emerald, the grey-headed parrot, the grey-forest owl, the brown forest Owl, and so on.
