2023 Tengchong Marathon Temporary Traffic Control Notice

The 2023 Tengchong Marathon will be held on November 19, 2023 (Sunday), in order to ensure the smooth holding of the event, in accordance with Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, temporary traffic control will be implemented on some roads during the race. The notice is as follows:

一. Control time

November 19, 2023 (Sunday) 06:30 to 15:00.

二. Control hours and roads

(1) From 06:30 to 15:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on Yanhu Road (from Wenzhi Guangchang Square to Wenxinglou North Roundabout).

(2) From 07:30 to 09:30, temporary traffic control will be implemented in the south and north parking lots of Wenxing Building and the passages on both sides.

(3) From 07:30 to 10:30, temporary traffic control will be implemented on Yuquan Road (Wenxinglou North Roundabout to Jianjun Hospital Roundabout, Jianjun Hospital Roundabout to Happy Lake Square).

(4) From 08:00 to 10:30, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the whole line from the roundabout of Dongsheng Road Jianjun Hospital to the end of the four-lane road from Niangniangmiao.

(5) From 08:00 to 11:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Huayan Road (Jianjun Hospital roundabout to Jinma Zhongyun roundabout), and small motor vehicles will be allowed to pass in both directions on the left lane; Temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Yingbin Road (Jinma Zhongyun roundabout to the intersection of Tengchong toll station of Baoteng Expressway), and two-way traffic will be implemented for small motor vehicles in the left lane; Temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Huayan Road (from the intersection of Tengchong toll station of Baoteng Expressway to Jinma Zhongyun roundabout), and the left lane will be two-way traffic for small motor vehicles.

(6) From 08:00 to 11:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Xiaguang Road (Jinma Zhongyun Roundabout to Xuxiake Roundabout), and small motor vehicles will be allowed to pass in both directions on the left lane.

(7) From 08:20 to 11:20, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Atami Road (Xu Xiake roundabout to Fortune Center roundabout), and two-way traffic will be implemented for small motor vehicles on the left lane.

(8) From 08:20 to 11:50, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Emerald Road (from the roundabout of Fortune Center to the intersection of the cemetery), and the left lane will be two-way traffic for small motor vehicles.

(9) From 08:30 to 12:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the Zhenrui Line (from the intersection of the cemetery to the intersection of Heshun traffic light).

(10) From 08:30 to 12:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on Heshun Road (Heshun traffic light intersection to Heshun World Tengchong Tianxia Heshun archway).

(11) From 08:30 to 12:40, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Tengyue Road (cemetery intersection to Chenjiaxiang roundabout), and small motor vehicles will be allowed to pass in both directions on the left lane.

(12) From 08:30 to 15:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of Yuquan Road (Chenjiaxiang roundabout to Beihai intersection), and two-way traffic will be implemented for small motor vehicles on the left lane. Temporary traffic control will be implemented on the left side of Yuquan Road (Beihai Road intersection to Wenxinglou North Roundabout), and two-way traffic control will be implemented for small motor vehicles on the right lane.

(13) From 09:00 to 15:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the right side of the Kadong Line (from Beihai Road Junction to Dazhuyuan Three-Way Intersection), and small motor vehicles will be allowed to pass in both directions on the left lane.

(14) From 09:00 to 15:00, temporary traffic control will be implemented on the entire Dada Line (Dazhuyuan three-way intersection to Mayugu intersection).

三. Control content and requirements

(1) During the traffic control period, except for the vehicles and personnel working for the event, it is strictly forbidden for any other vehicles (including motorcycles, electric vehicles, bicycles, tractors, animal-powered vehicles, etc.) and personnel and livestock to enter the controlled roads; Unregulated roads in urban areas are strictly forbidden for large and medium-sized trucks.

(2) During the traffic control period, it is strictly forbidden for any unit or individual to occupy the controlled road to engage in any activities unrelated to the event.

(3) The traffic control method shall be subject to the on-site staff command and warning signs, detour reminder signs, cones and barrels, warning belts (ribbons), etc.

四. detour tips

(1) During the traffic control period, Tengchong City takes Tengyue Road as the boundary between the east and west of the city and the detour route for small vehicles above the city: Chengdong ⇌ Huayan Road ⇌ Yingbin Road ⇌ Expressway ⇌ Zhonghe ⇌ Zhongma Road ⇌ Tengban Road ⇌ Chengxi.

(2) During the traffic control period, the specific detour routes for small vehicles entering and leaving the urban area:

1. Chengdong Expressway ⇌ Zhonghe ⇌ Chengxi, Heshun, Monkey Bridge, Lianghe, Gudong direction; Pass through Lao Baoteng Road (Shangying direction) ⇌ Yinghe Village (Luo Wutang) fork ⇌ Ma Yugu ⇌ Beihai Xinle Street.

2. West of the city via Ma Teng Line (Dongguan Village roundabout to Zhongma Road intersection) ⇌ Zhongma Road ⇌ Heshun, Monkey Bridge, Lianghe direction; Heshun, Zhonghe (including the Economic Development Zone) via Zhongma Road ⇌ Ma Station (Volcano Scenic Area), Gudong direction.

3. Medium-sized passengers, freight vehicles and tractors in the direction of Beihai, Qushi and Jietou shall all pass through the Kadong Line ⇌ Heiyu River Fork ⇌ Mazhan Station ⇌ Tengban Line ⇌ Chengxi / via Zhongma Road ⇌ Heshun, Monkey Bridge and Lianghe direction; Small vehicles can pass through Kadong Line (Tenglu Road) ⇌ Yuquan Road ⇌ Century Jinyuan ⇌ Ma Station, Gudong direction or along Zhongma Road ⇌ Heshun, Monkey Bridge, Lianghe direction.
