For 95 years, the Heshun Library
Always exuding a charming scholarly atmosphere
Just like Professor Deng Zhonghan
As described in "The Fragrance of Books Everywhere"
Its eaves are not high,
But it has attracted many towering and historical figures;
It's not a big house,
But the doors and windows are open, and the fresh air is flowing, which can hold the lower half of the world;
It cultivates fragrance,
In front of and behind the house, as well as in the neighborhood, there is a gentle breeze and smooth water everywhere

After the Boxer Rebellion in the late Qing Dynasty, new ideological trends spread throughout the country. The advanced intellectuals in Heshun Township catered to the needs of the times and initiated the organization of the "Xianxin Society" in Heshun in the 21st year of the Guangxu reign (1905). They purchased new knowledge books and borrowed them from both inside and outside the society. This was the first time in this remote small township that it was a creation.
In 1924, the Heshun youth living in Myanmar established the "Youth Association" and founded the "Book and Newspaper Society" to develop their hometown culture.
In 1925, the Youth Association was renamed the Chongxin Society. In 1928, the Chongxin Society expanded the Book and Newspaper Society into a library on the site of the old Xianxin Society.
In 1994, Heshun Library was listed as a "key cultural relic protection unit" by the Provincial People's Government.
Nowadays, Heshun Library has also entered the high-tech information age and added electronic reading rooms, creating more convenient opportunities for reading.
