Li Bicheng, the founder of yongmaohe company, opened yongmaoxiang company (the predecessor of yongmaohe company) around 1850 to deal in jewelry, jade and department stores. In 1897, Li Dexian, the son of Li Yongmao, co founded yongmaohe company with others and served as the general manager. Taking Mandalay, Myanmar as the headquarters of the company, "yongmaohe" company was the representative of modern and rich businessmen in Heshun. The company has experienced five generations and has a glorious history of more than 100 years.
In the past, there was a saying among the people in Tengchong that "Dong Dong, Xi Dong and Wan Louzi are rich people.". Today, the Li family of wanlouzi has been living in 13 countries and regions, including Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan. His sons and grandchildren are prosperous and talented.
