Zhengtai Brand

           During the Reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), Yun Zhengyuan of Heshun Shilu Temple founded Zhengtai Brand in Awa City, the ancient capital of Myanmar, and sold silk and flowered yarn. His son, Yin Bixuan, succeeded his father and expanded the business scope and reputation of the firm. He also served as the head of Awak (chairman of the Overseas Chinese Community). In the 18th year of Daoguang of Qing Dynasty (1838), Yin Bixuan proposed the reconstruction of Avalokitesvara Yunnan Guanyin Temple, and served as the prime minister and chief steerage for more than 10 years. The Yin family is very prominent in Ava City, with many businessmen. Daoguang Jiawu (1834) was recorded in Yin Yi's poem "Returning to Tengchong from Burma, Leaving his relatives and family behind". After Yin bixuan's death, Zhengtai Brand was inherited and run by his son Yin Qimao. In the early years of The Reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, Yin Qimao made contributions to the construction of longjiang River and the second bridge of Lujiang River. Wu Qizheng, a local official, presented it to the Yin family as "Chengxin Liji" and Yu Zechun as "diligent in business".
