The custom of Heshun Dabaojing has a long history, originating from the central plains. After planting rice every year, will hold a grand temple fair - "Dabaojing", to pray god bless good weather, good harvest, auspicious livestock.
Before the start of the Dabaojing, the time of holding should be determined by the Tao Master. When the time is confirmed, the busy preparation before the grand event will be carried out, including tying dragon boats, preparing incense offerings, copying list articles, writing documents, etc. All preparations were held in zhongtian Temple. Dabaojing activities are funded by Chengshou, and it is divided into large, two and three Chengshou, depending on the amount of money paid. There will be people competing for the position every year. Chengshou should be made in the previous year, accepted by the villagers. Most of the fees for the temple fair are paid by Chengshou. Another good men and women voluntarily donate money to jointly run.
Dabaojing activities do 3 ~ 5 days in zhongtian Temple classics, by the Taoist priest, Dongjing will set up altar.
